I lived my entire life without intentionally or unintentionally giving a Nazi salute… it’s actually not hard to avoid. When these people do it on stage (twice!), that’s intentional. America, your grandparents & great-grandparents would be so proud of you. Their generation gave literally everything they had to avoid this future & you’ve handed it all over to fascists, just so you can watch fucking cat videos. Congratulations 👏 slow clap

I’d like to see some other stats:

• a break-down of message content (% replies/boosts/posts or even % of posts contains polls/images/links)

• top 5 hashtags

• maybe users most interacted with [but maybe a privacy concern]

• Perhaps % of images that included alt-text

No idea how easy and/or how much overhead these requests require but just throwing them into the Masto-verse.

Oh… got an unexpected #wrapstodon notification and… it’s pretty cool. I guess it checks out, but I’m a bit shocked to see I’m in the top 4%… I’ll take it, but that’s probably not great considering.

I’m stoked that it puts me as a “cool-hunter”. But totally bummed that my top hashtag is #trump. I’ll work on that for next year (but suspect in 2025, it’ll be much worse).

Honestly, could you ever imagine Donald Trump giving a speech like this? Could you imagine Trump relinquishing power for the good of the nation? No. Of course not.

Like Churchill during WWII, Biden may have been exactly what America, and the world, needed at this pivitol point. And his selfless acts may have saved the nation and the American experiment.
