One of the reasons why I made @exformal is because it makes me and friends less dependent on big company bollocks. If bandcamp or instagram or whatever disappears tomorrow, https://exformal.art/ is still there and we can keep listening and exchaning thoughts and ideas and sounds with eachother.

I made a simple template for people who want to make websites built using @gohugoio and host them on GitHub. Includes a runner that will automatically build and publish the website every time you push new text or code. This is how I (very cheaply) made https://exformal.art for example.

Question for the hive: What do you think is the optimal platform for experiencing field recordings? If you have other ideas, write them below. I just think field recording is one of the most beautiful art forms but it's not super obvious how to present this art form to the world with respect to the sounds and the listener/experiencer at the same time.
