Hello, allow me to recommend the software osmin (GPS Navigator On-Road/Off-Road for Android and Linux devices), https://github.com/janbar/osmin

I use it on my pinephone pro smartphone under manjaro with phosh.

After not entirely convincing tests with gnome-maps and navit, I found osmin fully operational (GPS support, maps downloaded locally, route calculation, assistance voices, search for locations, etc.).

I installed navit (0.5.6-6) on my pinephone pro under manjaro linux. It works, but the position by GPS does not work (so no GPS for navit)... However it works perfectly with gnome-maps...

Does anyone have a solution to this, if so thank you very much in advance, Pierre.

Linux sur mon PinePhone Pro:

Linux mon-smartphone 6.7.5-1-MANJARO-ARM #1 SMP PREEMPT Sat Feb 17 14:30:32 UTC 2024 aarch64 GNU/Linux

Très opérationnel, un tout petit peu avec Waydroid...

Deux problèmes:

1.- Très mauvaise qualité des caméras et juste possible avec megapixels 1.8

2.- Autonomie de la batterie trop faible (max 5h en utilisation faible)

Sinon très convaincant...
