I'm having an aesthetic problem with inspirational quotes posted as images that are just some text in goddamn Calibri or whatever on a basic background color. I have no aesthetic problem when inspirational quotes are posted as animated GIFs with lots of glitter, steaming coffee cups, waterfalls, shirtless dudes, and multiple layers of baroque style gold frames.

The Linux Foundation is now providing a "neutral space where industry leaders, academia, developers, and the broader open source community can work together to support projects within the Chromium ecosystem" — with support from Google, Meta, Microsoft, and Opera. Hard to imagine anything more neutral I guess.

Today the nextcloud desktop sync client tells me that one of my folders is "linked to multiple accounts"—which is not true—and asks me to "check for outdated sync_*.db files." Maybe I could read the truncated error messages in full and do something about it if I could resize the window, however the thing is hanging blocking one full CPU core. Avoid.

This image makes little sense: the window of the person on the right is closer, which is clear from comparing the size of window controls and title bar with the ones in the other person's window. So the person with the very large base cap would probably see only the back of the right person's hand.

Browsers can access my USB joypad, my camera, my fonts, draw 3D graphics and run highly optimized assembly programs, but they cannot read my preferred date and time formats.

So theoretically I could get a fancy clock made of 3D letters with a realistic reflection map of the room I'm in that I could spin with a game controller reading
