i should also do a big version of this with SN6505B proper and a Würth 750315371 to see if it's würth it for 5W applications (but at least 3x the price)

i'm open to suggestions if anyone has better ideas/recommendations.

maybe i'm onto something, maybe this is a bad idea. only one or two ways to find out!

goal is to have a 5V/0.2A isolated supply for <1.5USD in small qty and <1USD in 100 or more.

all the commercial modules are quite expensive and/or have shitty efficiency. this should do >80% over basically the full range, but i'll need to test this one the bench.

this is the FET. it's available, it's <1 USD for JLC assembly and i'm out of ideas where i could find something better. Qg could be lower but Rdson is pretty much the lowest i could find with those specs.
