Question about a #diy project I have in mind.
I search a clock projector (the little projector can show the current time on a wall available on many clock) that can be accessed by a micro controller like an Arduino.
I search on Amazon and AliExpress, but found nothing (maybe wrong keywords).
Have you suggestions ?
(I already have a well working clock, but I want to add projectors for easy reading at night and maybe in other rooms too)

Just an information about @CanterlotComics , I just add more than 200 pages of the Russian translation of Crusaders, it should take few turn of the bot (every hour) to load all the images, so you will see many times the same notifications but the page number will increase each time.

Currently (at this moment), I have still some things in my backlog, just a little list :
As you can see, there is many things to be done, and currently, the DIY project took more time than I expected (but I finished the hardware part, now I have to work on the software on the computer).

What about the new year to come :
After cleaning my backlog, I plan to update the instance to Mastodon 4.3, it will take me some time to update (with a downtime I think), due to the services splitting (not a big deal, I assume), the database upgrade require by the new version (not hard, but I will need to dump the database before the upgrade in case of problem) and porting the current modifications (like the notification sound, column resize, ...) than need some test too.
The servers seems to be fine and have no major problems so far, I still watch if the backup are done correctly (maybe need a retest to ensure everything is OK) maybe can be used to test the upgrade.

Je ne sais pas quelle morale en tirer.
Mais en cas de doute, même si c'est plus long, utilisez l'assurance que vous payez tous les mois, au moins, vous n'avez pas à gérer la paperasse et ces déconvenues.

Quelle joie de faire faire des travaux chez soi, fin 2023, je fais retirer la baignoire pour une douche, ça se passe pas trop mal (2/3 reprises à faire, mais rien de grave).
11 mois plus tard, je constate des soucis d'odeur, un mur (déjà fragilisé, mais renforcé lors des travaux) qui se fissure encore et un parquet qui gondole (pas celles de venise ...).
Vérification faites, le receveur semble ne plus avoir une étanchéité avec le mur (je pense en connaitre la cause, mais l'expert dira).
Sur des conseils de proches, je passe par l'assurance habitation, l'expert me contacte ce matin, ok pour l'expertise ... en décembre ...
Et ce n'est pas fini, je vérifie si l'adresse de l'entreprise est toujours la même (dans le registre des sociétés) et là ... liquidée depuis le 02/2024 ...
Bon il y a forcément une assurance décénale au pire, mais je laisse les assurances gérer.

I see this night a wave of spam reach the instance, after a moderator manage it, I check the 4 major domain and suspend them for 2 reason : first spam (maybe not their fault, but we need to protect the instance) and outdated version of their software.
