"Ghost town"

Watercolours from Piedras y Agua + digital painting.

It was so cool to meet the artist who made these watercolour paints on a recent trip to Chile! The paints are wonderfully vibrant, and it was a lot of fun adding digital painting on top to create a loose environment.

I finally did it. I've moved all of the 152 artworks I'd uploaded to DeviantArt as a teenager / young adult to my own art website and deleted my account. It was really touching to go through all of my old artwork, and I'm glad it's got a new, safe home.

Warriston Cemetery.

Hopping through a bush and over a ruined wall, I found myself in the most mysterious, peaceful and solitary place, guarded by towering trees and creeping vines.

What kinds of creature could live in the game world? Here I become familiar with the pine marten: a playful, curious and shy hunter native to Scotland.

Starting environment concept art for a video game I’m working on!

Here I explore different types of trees and how they can be used sparingly to give a sense of scale and beauty, or appear as a thick cluster to act as a barrier.

Magnolia bar, Lisbon.

A gift for a friend, painted December 2023. This chic, lively bar was her favourite spot in Lisbon, where she felt a home-from-home while living there.

LX Factory, Lisbon.

An unexpected gem on an old industrial site. Underneath the towering bridge, the area has been turned into studios, a creators market and cozy eating spots. Painted November 2023

Beauty among the ruins.

I painted last year, inspired by the game Solar Ash. Skating around a physics-defying universe of ruins and planets was pure bliss.
