You can only used MALE drones in ground RB so it's not like you can practice with them, but thankfully they're pretty intuitive. Not survivable against air defence, obviously, just like in real life, but easier to launch ATGMs from than a helicopter

I got a clip but can't upload it here (error 413, too big) but I would life to report that I did come out of the gunner's view, but drove right into a crag anyway. Also I was thinking this at the time, but watching it back I really should've prioritised the Olifant Mk.II's that were about to leave my field of view, so I wouldn't've had to relocate. I just kinda figured other teammates would deal with the tanks at the front of the column tho, and that I would've been more of a help by dealing with the ones in the back

pro tip: if you're trying to snipe w/ ATGMs from a craggy mountain and want to change position, come out of the gunner's view first so you can actually see where you're going, rather than just driving straight into one of those crags

Decided to test fly one of the top tier jets in War Thunder to get used to how they work even though I'm not even close to early jets yet and damn am I gonna have to find a better keybind for radar locking a target. ALT+F sucks. Might just use middle mouse button. ALT+T to select a target to lock is also kinda clunky but you don't always need that
