This is not restricted to formal positions of power, but equally applies to emergent power dynamics. Dating a younger and/or less experienced person? Congrats, you're holding some power over them. Having more money than your peers? Power too. Having partners in very different situations? Congrats, you have a hierarchy. People in your local group respect what you say? Same thing.

These dynamics are real, and must be acknowledged and taken seriously to not accidentally cause harm.

"With great power comes great responsibility", and I feel like some groups are too averse of acknowledging power structures because they are scared of being held responsible.

When hierarchies are not dismantled, but merely erased, implicit power structures emerge, in which accountability is lost.

We are lacking a culture of how to hold power wisely, and shying away from that leaves positions of power open to opportunists and immature mini-tyrants.

@tinrechtshilfe Nachdem der EuGH ja bestätigt hat dass es laut DSGVO kein berechtigtes Interesse gibt beim Ticketverkauf nach dem Geschlecht zu fragen: Gäbe es vielleicht die Möglichkeit auch die Deutsche Rentenversicherung mit einer strategischen Klage dazu zu zwingen, nicht mehr Geschlechtsinformation in der Versicherungsnummer zu Codieren?
