Edited to correct the spelling of the author’s name! I just finished “The War We Won Apart” a terrific book by Nahlah Ayed about a couple’s experiences as SOE agents in France (a Canadian man and an English woman) during WWII. It’s fascinating. I had no idea Canadians were involved in that capacity. The story also goes beyond that era to cover their lives after returning to Canada. It’s A truly amazing read. I recommend!
