Using a Yubikey for OpenPGP and PIV at the same time seems to be a bit broken (on arch linux)

I think the gpg-agent and libykcs processes don't release the USB device after each operation, which will block other processes from accessing the yubikey.

Any Ideas?

and researching the exceptions just lead to a bunch of issues, along the lines of: "This is inside the C(++) kernel, waiting for further discussions/someone how actually knows whats happening to fix it"

This issue exists in #FreeCad as well.

I need some help with #cadquery.

I want to chamfer text, but I get OCP.StdFail.StdFail_NotDone: BRep_API: command not done exceptions. I think they're caused by tiny edges producing intersecting chamfers. (Inside the S)

Sometimes it works, but the mesh is incomplete afterwards.

It would probably be enough to subtract material from the lower edge at an angel, stopping after a certain length. But I don't know how to without breaking the mesh.

Any recommendations for (opensource) offline 2D/3D CAD tools?

I'm used to fusion 360 and really like the 2D drawing to 3D object workflow, as well as the variables and dependencies you can use in the drawings.

I've also used openscad, but some operations like fillets are a bit icky with openscad. I do like the code to 2D/3D object workflow as I'm used to coding.

Wir sind auf der Suche nach trans* Jugendlichen für eine Studie.

Es geht darum die Situation von Jugendlichen in der (teil-)stationären Jugendhilfe (Wohngruppen/Tagesgruppen/etc.) zu untersuchen.

Und es ließe sich damit auch Recht einfach mit einem Token in der URL manchen Anwendungen mehr Infos geben als anderen... (Oder Felder umbenennen, weil sich auf einen Namen einigen bzw. an Standards halten macht ja keiner, grrr)

Sowas wie gravatar aber in selfhosted wäre cool.

Einfach ein .well-known file oder sowas, in dem ich meine Account Metadaten pflegen kann. Und dann gebe ich einfach allen möglichen Tools diese URL und alles wird automatisch synchronisiert und aktualisiert sich regelmäßig.

Also vor allem für Dinge wie GitLab oder Nextcloud will ich nicht auf jeder Instanz erstmal alle Einstellungen durchklicken damit alles so ist wie es sein soll, vor allem bei GPG/SSH-Keys ist das echt nervig...
