i really wish people would understand that, within the fediverse, self-censoring most words that would have been censored on other platforms is counter-productive. it just confuses and upsets people, especially when it bypasses their filters

ironically, this means that using "bridgy fed" exclusively from the ActivityPub side is the safest way to use bsky

personally i don't really condone any use of bsky but if u do at least keep the above in mind

hey i know it was spurred by twitter blocks becoming shit and yall are just trying to go where all your friends are but did u know that blocks on bluesky suck too

it is not obvious just from browsing the site or app but the AT protocol exposes every account u block
