Sometimes I am this contemplative, but there's a certain quality that's just missing in me, that Karl Wilhelm Diefenbach's "A Girl on the Shore" has: as ethereal as she is magnetic. I wonder what life is like for such a being as this...what pleasures do they enjoy, what terrors do they suffer...what would they think of us? Or would they even think of us at all? That'd be nice...to be in another world away from it all.
