Finally, I've taken the 5 minutes I needed to add a deprecation notice to my company's Jitsi instance (/usr/share/jitsi-meet/index.html).

Meanwhile, Jitsi upstream has taken down its list of instances (which I was meaning to link from the deprecation notice) since it was being used for abuse…

Almost forgot to mention Groove Coaster (グルーヴコースター) which is very simple to begin with (3 simple commands: click, hold, double-click), but which features a lot more moves to master… <3

Entrepreneur pro-tip: Read. Every. Single. Contract. In. Its. Entirety.

Today's gem: What should have been its very own “Applicable Law” paragraph was buried deep down in some “Miscellaneous” paragraph.

(Because… no, I don't want to become an expert in Swedish laws/courts.)

After this operation, 1,448 MB of additional disk space will be used.

Get:1 http://deb.debian.org/debian bookworm/main amd64 texlive-fonts-extra all 2022.20230122-4 [509 MB]

All that to refresh a CV for a company that already knows me and insist I submit the same documents they already have because of… GDPR reasons.

Forgot to include some disclaimer…

Please don't trust anything I write, do your own research, etc. Also, a bunch of video authors seem to agree changing the way you run (especially if you want to move away from heel-first landing) should be supervised by some coach and/or health professional to minimize injury risks.

Also (as should be obvious from the mentioned “times”) I've only recently come back to running after a long hiatus, and I was never an expert in the first place!

Who knew?

If you want to run quicker, move your legs quicker.

Yes, that might sound daft, but my initial instinct, upon building strength/resistance, was to push harder and go for greater strides.

Quicker cadence means smoother ride all along, less energy wasted vertically, less efforts on the body when landing, better position of the center of gravity relative to the foot (above or forward, avoid backward), etc.

5 km: 30:06 yesterday → 28:42 today. 🤯 🤯 🤯 !!!

— This thing takes too much time, let's complain, not even try, and work around it instead.

— That doesn't match my experience.

— Look! Stats!

— Have you actually tried with this specific instance? [spoiler alert: no]

It's not a good day to be getting mails from the Debian bug tracking system.
