You might know @YaLTeR for his contributions to GNOME, but his recent work on the scrollable-tiling window manager niri is truly remarkable. It stands out with full support for mouse and touchpad gestures, making keyboard shortcuts mostly optional. The demo video showcases just how intuitive this workflow can be—I'd love to see a similar approach in GNOME someday. Flatpaks are great for GUIs, but nowadays, Linux feels behind on CLI app distribution. If you’re also not thrilled with the current options, check out pixi global! I just published a post on it: https://prefix.dev/blog/pixi_global

Looks like thanks to https://flathub.org/apps/app.fotema.Fotema I finally get some benefit from the fact that all my pictures are geotagged 😁
