omg, #jekyll is such a mess. so, rebuilding (regenerating, actually) an old static website (that has been running for ages with an outdated ruby/jekyll setup) on a different machine stumbles over error after error after error because of gem versions mismatch and now i'll need to learn #ruby of all things to bring this back up?!

subscribing to a personal profile on #fediverse brings that person's posts, all of them, to my home stream <- sometimes things i'm not very interested in.
subscribing to a tag gives (almost) anyone the possibility to spam my home stream with unrelated posts, they only have to slam the tag (cheap). also, posts with misconfigured language.
i with i could setup a filter like: from this person import only posts tagged like that, in these languages. not ideal, but at least less intrusive.

@inventaire hello! hey, i seem to have a problem with one book i'm trying to add to my #inventaire collection (inventaire.io/users/tivasyk): by searching for the isbn (1-56592-001-5) i can find a book that has a similar title (see screenshot) but it's a different edition! what i have is a 1992 edition of a related, but not exactly the same text! i can find the correct edition on #openlibrary (https://openlibrary.org/books/OL1039421M/UNIX_in_a_nutshell). should i edit the edition on inventaire? if not, how do i add the correct one?

the first three results with leonardo's concept art preset (i thought this would be easier than a photorealistic one, i might be completely mistaken here).
the one-bit requirement has been completely ignored; no idea why, but this tells me leonardo either misunderstood that part or can't apply a basic filter once an image has been generated.
