Prediction; Trump will nationalize SpaceX by mid 2026 after Elon has a falling-out with Trump's admin. over funding for AI not going to him (Elon). I was already planning on getting rid of my Starlink service, but after Elon's Nazi salute at Trumps inauguration I'm moving up the time table. It's going to be difficult since I live in a remote area, but I won't support this fascist any longer.

@npr I can't believe how many trackers you have on your mobile app (17 total). For a respectable news source such as yours, the use of these trackers is simply disgusting and I suggest you rethink you position on using them.

Yesterday's movie of the day was "The Departed" by Martin Scorsese. A really good film IMO and Jack Nicholson gave an awesome performance. One issue I have is at the end where DiCaprio's character only calls officer Brown to the scene where DiCaprio confronts Colin but Nicholson's 2nd guy on the inside also shows up and kills DiCaprio. How did he know? Makes no sense.

Anyway, it's an awesome movie that I would recommend anyone watch.

Where I live #Starlink is the only option for internet. But fiber is being installed and when it's an option I will be dropping Starlink and not giving #Musk any more of my money.

Watched the movie Collateral by Michael Mann last night for the first time. Great show and highly recommended. I really like his movies. He does an awesome job of capturing the raw grittiness of the shooting action scenes.

Last night's viewing of #Furiosa was mostly positive. Great action flick but there were some discontinuity scenes and the over-reliance on CGI made it less authentic and dissapointing. Fury Road is still the best of the two IMO.

Today I'm going to be diving back into trying to use #FreeBSD as a daily desktop driver. What do others recommend? Should I just use vanilla FreeBSD and install #KDE #Plasma6 on it (I really love KDE) or should I just go with something like #GhostBSD for now?
