Inside our Christmas card we sent a complex Perl RegEx, that printed ASCII Art. A lot of recipients used OCR to digitalize and execute it. The overall experience was, that OCR is still[1] not able to identity all characters properly.

Please keep that in mind, when you are archiving your documents!

Wisst ihr, ob sich ein Archiv, für #Fotos aus #Westfalen etwa zwischen 1930 und 1980 interessiert?

In der Sammlung sind unter anderem Fotos, die die Auswirkung der Sprengung der Möhnetalsperre (1943) zeigen.
