I was able to convert PDF files to jpeg using:

$ pdftocairo [options] inputfile.pdf outputfile.jpeg

it uses poppler.

It is a really cool command line program for graphics file conversation. Then I resized the images in GIMP and prepared them for printing at a much reduced size, to save paper.

Open Source folks:

I'm trying out FairEmail on Android. I did buy the pro add-ons (feed the dev). I used the GitHub version.

Anyone have any experience with it?
