My 6(.5) year old started grade 1 yesterday.

Good to see he has realistic expectations of employment. He wants to grow up to be a pirate.

It is a good day to take a lead from Debian.

Say from one face, around a heavy bevelled corner to the adjacent face of a cube.

Hey #FreeCAD wizards, I saw the accent technique of embedding a hole exposed along the surface of a 3D print to insert a contrasting strand of filament.

That is pretty simple in FreeCAD (or at least is with my budding familiarity with it), as is doing it at an angle to have it be a little bit more interesting.

Last night I figured out ways to have that hole follow a curved path for even more interest, but I'd like to push it further.

Can I make that hole go across multiple surfaces?

Hey fellow Australians and Kiwis (or anyone with knowledge of this area), what are the best options for print on demand shirts and such when only concerned with servicing ANZ (and maybe some other smaller nearby nations)?

Just as much a power play as expecting free tech support from family for your corporate OS.

The Linux user only has as much power to apply pressure for the switch as they are given through requests for free tech support.

They wont actually send the email to confirm my email address so I can create the password for my Meta account.

[#]Bitwarden update claims it is easier to auto fill forms in the browser now.

Old: click anywhere on the item except the buttons to autofill

New: click only on the 'fill' button to autofill

This seams harder to me.

I love reading a "how to X" post, and get to the end and still have no idea how to do X.

Do you?

Dumb question: "PC4-M10" means the thread is M10 and I should be able to use an M10 nut on them?

Just tried firmware on my new handwired Dactyl, and I'm not understanding what is going on. The first two columns work as expected:

KL: kc: 0x0014, col: 0, row: 0, pressed: 1

KL: kc: 0x0014, col: 0, row: 0, pressed: 0

KL: kc: 0x001A, col: 1, row: 0, pressed: 1

KL: kc: 0x001A, col: 1, row: 0, pressed: 0

But the next 3 columns don't. Nothing is scanned, until I press two at the same time (see picture)

Don't zoom in.

Regardless I'm reasonably proud, and learned a lot.

At what % of the cost of a #mechanicalKeyboard build does it feel like you've spent too much on the switches?
