Kiddos have been building better Pokemon decks so looked up some cheaper decks to tinker with and ended up building a budget Greninja EX deck based on a few others that I had found. Looking forward to seeing how it holds up.

Small update to rules for Just in Time my abstract cooperative time-travel game:

Been noodling on final issues of my time-travel cooperative game Just in Time and finally found some solutions I'm happy with.

Eldest daughter joined me and one of the teens for our 3rd play of Nexalis 🤓

We visited the veiled island Elysira plagued with howling caves where we tamed a bear and battled a moon dancer who was using magical crystals to tamper with the islands protective barrier.

Been loving this #ttrpg so much and was excited to introduce it to more of the family ❤️

Tonight we played Menara and MegaCity: Oceania

We managed a 7 story victory on easy mode with Menara (our 3rd victory ever with this game)

I came in 2nd in MegaCity

My local game store celebrated their first anniversary today with a dedicated board game day and invited me out to teach my first game design Nightfall 🙂

Was great getting to introduce the game to some more folks and especially when immediately after the first game getting asked to run it again so players could try out different cards.

8yr olds have been into robots lately so took the opportunity to introduce them to Scythe 🤩

They held out fairly well! Though of course attention spans eventually dwindled and we agreed to play one more round before ending early 🤓
