‼️Tusky 27 is now available on Google Play just on time for the holidays!!!

➡️New and updated things you will find in it: 👇

✅ Material 3 redesign

✅ Support for notification policies (a Mastodon 4.3 version feature)

✅ Many bugfixes (among them the annoying one that deleted a post being written when changing from Tusky to another app, finally😅)

➡️F-droiders will have to wait some days more for it, but it will be out very soon!

Hi there! After a bit of time and lots of work we are near to the release of Tusky 27, but we want it to be perfect, and we need your help.

➡️ Tusky 27 Beta will be out in 2-3 days adn we need as many testers as possible.

➡️ If you want to help us you have to become a beta tester. To do it, opt-in to the Tusky beta program on our Google Play page

‼️ Tusky will stop supporting #Android 7 in 2025. We still don't know the fix date, but will tell you in advanced.

❓ What does it mean for Android 7 users?

➡️ It means that users with Android 7 installed will still be able to use the #Tusky version they have installed when this happens, but they are not going to ble able to update it to newer versions if they don't update the operating system or change smartphone/tablet.

🧐🧐New things added in #Tusky 26.1 👇

‼️The Reply privacy account preference now has two additional options: Match default post privacy, and Direct. For new accounts the first one is the default option (check your account preferences to select your preferred option) ✅

‼️The soft keyboard will now be hidden after doing a search ✅

‼️ Included ISRG root certificates to keep working on Android 7 and servers that use Let,s Encrypt ✅

We have fixed some issues 👇

• Fixed a bug where Tusky sometimes mixes up timelines and/or notifications of accounts ✅

• Fixed two bugs where Tusky would not provide the translation option even the server is configured correctly ✅

• Fixed a rare bug that sometimes made Tusky crash at startup ✅

• Fixed a bug where the timeline would randomly jump to the position of the last "show more" placeholder clicked on "oldest first" reading order ✅
