There is a security policy to unlock WiFi settings for standard users on MacOS, I've requested this be changed but of course that'll take a while

I have both a MacBook and a Linux ThinkPad for work. Linux is self-managed at work so I have admin there. Just can't do iOS dev on anything other than MacOS 🥲

Newest #MacOS annoyance: whilst you can add WiFi networks, you can't edit or remove them without admin privileges by default, which of course IT won't give us lowly devs

Started replaying #HalfLife2. The difference those 6 years made is huge. It has definitely aged very well

I completed #HalfLife for the first time yesterday. I started playing it last year with the 25th anniversary documentary but set it down partway through Xen

I wasn't a fan of that final boss, was quite grindy. Although I've just realised I'd forgotten about the long jump module which might have made things easier

Whenever I connect to public WiFi that asks for an email address, I always enter an address on the same domain that's asking. Like hello@publicwifi.net. Very few forms actually check for it and they just let you connect without verification

I opt into marketing emails, of course
