Port of https://github.com/keis/git-fixup to POSIX Shell and suggestion to #git happened. Unfortunately, it seems that git-mentoring list seems dead (no reply for over a day).

[#]OpenSUSE Tumbleweed has now package of #Python 3.13 without GIL, so I have tried it with #PyCon 2015 examples by @dabeaz (retyped from video!), and it is a strange experience not to have #GIL standing in the way.
