We also welcomed today the keynote address by Valeriya Ionan, Deputy Minister for Eurointegration, Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

She highlighted Ukrainian efforts to advance digital transformation and innovation, one of which is Diia, an open source e-government platform that manages the provision of the majority of public services.

Amandeep Gill, the UN Envoy on Technology Under-Secretary-General delivered a keynote address, highlighting that:

"The European Union continues to demonstrate leadership in digital space. One of the most notable aspects of this progress is the region's embrace of open source. "

He also announced the release of the OSPOs for Good 2024 report and the launch of the UN Open Source Week this summer.
