Some good advice on changelog management in this article: https://xavd.id/blog/post/effective-changelogs/. But I much prefer Markdown sub-sections to grouping via emojis.

Also, consider using a tool like scriv or changie to fill your changelog as you go (and don't generate your changelog from your commits!)
