Truth be told, I'm a little bit nostalgic of the period when I could just buy a big new book on a computer science subject I didn't know much about, and LEARN.

Do these books still exist? Probably.

Is there a subject I'm willing to learn in depth from scratch? Not quite sure.

Do I have the mental bandwidth to tackle such a book? Absolutely not.
