Plea to people going to #FOSDEM: please wear a mask. The rooms at the ULB campus are very badly ventilated, and during FOSDEM they are often filled over capacity, exacerbating the issue. okay i DID forget to open ipv6 firewall ports but the actual issue is that my isp blocks a bunch of ports by default? 23 i can get but i guess the only reason to block 80, 443 etc is just... preventing people from pwning themselves when they run a local server without knowing that they have a publicly routable IP? but then why not just delegate that firewall responsibility to the router.
