Here is my little track of the week: Mint Ice Cream (using the theme Fresh)

I am not happy with this one. I had a hard time starting it, and then found a lot of very frustrating bugs in the #Woovebox while making it (some of which can be heard, but I tried to mask them as best I could).

Had some more ideas for it, and I didn’t do a proper final mix because I’m just annoyed. But eh, at least it’s done, and I can revisit it when bugs are fixed.

Everyone is happy about the bsky bridge, for me it’s just annoying. People keep boosting non CWed stuff or shitpost. (love having that porn pop up in the bus)

I gave it a chance, now I’m just blocking it. I feel like it’s just polluting the space for me :(

2024 was very difficult for me art wise. Lost a lot of motivation, my mind was elsewhere, creativity was very low, and there were a few months where I didn’t draw at all…

Still, I’m proud of a few pics, especially the arcade and the dragon in the sky, done during ArtFight in July.

I use my Rockbox music player through it's audio UI (because the screen is dead) and it's very comfy. I wish most things didn't need a visual UI.

I guess my Woovebox also falls in that category a little bit, it has visual feedback but not that much (other recent-ish audio gear seems to be on that trend... OP-Z, SEQTRAK...)

I will say… making software just for myself and not caring for anyone else to use it is really freeing…

Maybe someday later it can be, but for now I don’t care. I break and rewrite parts every few weeks at this point.
