Mon corps s'est rendu compte de la materialité du numérique quand j'ai pensé "Tiens je veux écouter Gorilla Biscuits" et en 6 secondes j'écoutais sur mon tél un fichier audio stocké de l'autre côté de l'Atlantique, par un service API routant le trafic d'encore ailleurs, enregistré dans les 80s. 6 secondes après ma pensée. Mais par quel délire on s'est permis ça?

Bon au moins c'était pas Spotify.

Sans parler du fait que même sur du #powerviolence on peut énormément s'amuser sans foutre les gens par terre.

Hé les gars (et là je parle aux "dudes", aux mecs cis) - il serait pas temps de revoir son comportement en concert et de prendre un peu moins de place dans le #pogo ?

La scène #punk c'est pas "pour tout le monde" seulement en mots. Faut que ça se fasse en gestes. Un de ces gestes serait déjà peut-être de calmer son slam quand un groupe ouvertement #feministe joue (et vous le demande) non?

Ensuite il faut qu'on parle du lancer de coudes ou de cette manie à rentrer dans le tas.

P.S. The reason I'm writing this is finding a bikini OF picture in the # screenshot saturday feed.

I don't mind anyone doing that. But there's good reason not to hop on a cool mastodon custom where people share what they're creating on their screens. Or share cats.

There's also a good reason to CW it for anyone who might not be feeling particularly into it.

You wouldn't tag # plumbing on a music post.

Do report any visibly malicious posts that include many trending hashtags without having anything to do with them.

Do all the marketing you want about anything you want, but don't disrupt caturday, ScreenshotSaturday or other stuff. Label your posts correctly, and use CW when in doubt.

How would one theoretically use #scraping from different sites of #events organizers and generate an #icalendar file to easily get notified of events in their city or region for themselves or their community?

This is to avoid using #meta as a source that many rely on for lack of alternatives (that are actually invested).

5. There's a new model in town for financing and supporting / contributing to open and shared #typeface projects. Contribute to a font by paying for it, getting the font and a license to use it, and help it grow until it reaches its funding goal and becomes libre! and adopts OFL.

It's an interesting proposal to pay the designers of our fonts while also contributing to our commons. I'll have to think about it though, I'm not entirely sure about it.
