I plan to stick around and help fight here in the US. I don't plan on just jumping ship after everything, but in the event that things got REALLY bad I needed to jump ship, how hard is it to move from the US to Canada? can you just move? or does it have to be for work related reasons? how much preplanning does it take? how long until you can actually be a citizen and live there? what all would I need to do? and can my partner come with me?

@Soniop reasons to wear a mask:

• caring for yourself

• caring for others

• it can make for a cool fashion accessory (just make sure you're still wearing ones with filters)

• if you get a sneeze or a cough that comes out of nowhere you don't have to worry about accidentally sneezing or coughing on someone

• it's comfortable(subjective, but personally is for me)

• it shows that you're compassionate

• you can secretly make silly faces

• it helps reduce smells if you're sensitive to them

I also can't just have another job AND volunteer. cause they're not open on weekends. and I can't control my schedule to make it work around so that I could still spend some time volunteering. BUT ITS LITERALLY MY DREAM. if they sat down with me for an interview I'm literally just gonna go on a infodump rant about how passionate I am about it for as long as they would let me- I'm literally willing to work for nothing but I can't even do that but I can't seem desperate so I can't ask EVERY time

like literally they don't even have to pay me minimum wage like just give me five bucks to cover the commute and I'll happily work there. but they're not even allowed to do that 😭 LIKE WHAT DOES IT TAKE??? anytime I'm there I basically volunteer while I'm there. I help people find things. I help the kids. I help people learn to use the computers. I help put books back. but like I wanna do that every day but I can't realistically do that without getting paid cause like I still need to eat-

anybody got tips on how to get hired at a library??? its like one of my greatest passions but every time I look on the website or ask the librarian they always say that there aren't any positions open. but also I see new people working as clerks all the time. how did they get hired?? or maybe they're doing community service cause they seem to be pretty in and out. I don't have an mls degree or anything so all I really have going for me is my passion for it. its been my dream since I was five.

finished my journal cover for 2025!🧷 I was going for a patch jacket style. I think it turned out pretty cool! (can't wait until I can make an actual patch jacket. I WILL BE UNSTOPPABLE >:3)
