All my stuff is now in my new studio! No picture because OMG everything is everywhere. I had a little cry about how disorganized my things are (I'm usually a person who knows where all my stuff is at all times), but I know it'll get better.

Working on a series of simple and tiny Sutro Tower paintings on Japanese paper. I painted in some fog and I'm trying to decide if I should put the bottom of the tower back in, or keep it obscured, as it so often is in real life. The clear leveling gel worked! More or less. The coat is thinner than I'd like, and there's some waviness in parts, but I'm probably the only one who will notice it by the time I'm finished with the piece. #art #skateboard

Will this self-leveling gel just level itself right off the curved surface of this skateboard deck? I guess it's one of the exciting parts of my job to find out, once it dries in a day or so.

Ok hello! Here I am at my new home at sfba.social. Things seem to have mostly worked! Hopefully I'll be able to see more people here (and more people will be able to see me).

Coincidentally, I'm also moving studios in a couple of weeks. Same building (Arc, in SOMA in SF), but different space. I'm excited to set up a new workspace - I'll let you know when it's ready for visitors.
