the random streaks across the frame are planes, Aurora airport is directly north of us.

But it got me thinking, this would be a real fun mode during the meteor showers, at least with that extra 'persistence in vision' they should really pop.

Star Trails over Oregon 1-19-25.

Amazed I got this down enough to direct post. Hopefully doesn't look too squished.

The light pollution around here definitely sucks, but I still try to have a bit of fun on these clear nights.

Fog and mist find our morning today.

33 here in Mt.Angel, no frost locally.

Almost got the pink glow this morning but things above are a bit thick .

Looks like the colder days have now been bumped forward into the weekend, some rather low temps currently forecast, so we will keep an eye on it..

7:30am - Some thick #fog building up in the mid Willamette Valley as our morning has progressed.

No frost here today, but that is expected to change coming tomorrow.

Forecast is showing morning temps 30°f and lower throughout the work week.

Dear mysterious person, somewhere near River Road in Salem..

Please take care of him.

We tried to re-house him, and it went as bad as it could. I won't forgive myself ever for letting him go.

He took a shine to a neighbor, who since passed away. I was full with four cats, so I originally thought this was for the best.

But the new owners were not vetted well, and proved to be trash people - he ran away.

My only assurance is that he's so adorable, somebody finally got him and loves him..

Nearby river levels as of 5:00am, Sunday.

The Pudding at Woodburn is definitely getting close to flood stage, my non-expert guess is we may see some relatively minor flooding in the farm valleys in coming days.

Molalla River showing some improvement at Canby, will likely see it start rising again, but feel less sure about flooding there..
