I have two more paintings up on Heritage, this time two for the “Heroes in Hell” series.

I had 3 primary sources of inspiration on this project—the poster for the Charlton Heston version of “Ben Hur”, Pietre Bruegel the Elder, and Hieronymus Bosch. The first book, just titled “Heroes in Hell”, has the most direct connection to the “Ben Hur” poster, and one might say it is an rip off homage to that wonderful Reynold Brown artwork.
