First Twitter, now Facebook. Instagram is on the way…I’m getting there!

I had a long day of flying yesterday, but I did get a cool couple of photos from the plane. The first is on the tarmac at Chicago O’Hare (where it was raining) and the second is Las Vegas from the air (and I just happened to catch the red wing light flashing)

My brain is still struggling to unlearn the years of algorithmic social media. I had become fearful of “liking” anything or following anyone, because it would skew my timeline.

Yes cloud computing is fancy and shiny but it’s not always the best solution. If you want to be forward-thinking, you’ll use BOTH cloud and on-prem, know the difference, and when you should use each

A major positive to come out of the last few days of the Biden administration: the IDR repayment progress info they promised is now available on studentaid.gov. If you are on an IDR plan, go check it out and save as much of the info as you can NOW, since we don’t know what changes will come to the Dept of Ed in the next few days 👀

Just being able to see this is a huge relief, since I know somewhere in the system they’ve got my records sorted out
