I thought someone left a small piece of candy on picnic table, when I first spotted this from afar. It's actually turkey tail #fungi growing out of the table. It was still mostly frozen as the temperature dipped below zero the night before.

I highly regret making the personal choice to "catch up on the news".

I leave for about a week to do adaptive snowsports training. I return & find out a lot of geopolitical shit flew into more bizarreness while I was away on road trip.

Trump threatening to take over Canada & Greenland has to be one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. It's never going to happen because Canadians won't tolerate that shit.

They are the #WellandCommunityOrchard coordinator/educator for the 2025 Winter #FruitTrees #pruning #apprenticeship program - funded by local #FoodSecurity #nonprofit organization, #LifecyclesProject. Today was day 1 of the hands on apprenticeship learning program which runs for just over a month.

Here, River is giving a pruning saw demo on a dwarf apple tree.
