I can't help the #impression that under the adminstration of #donaldtrump the #USA is sliding deeper and deeper into #international #isolation and (what I consider even more #concerning) closer and closer towards #civilwar . :blobcatfearful:

I #desperately hope this is wrong, but at this point it appears not unrealistic due to the #hasty and #merciless policy changes.

In 1995 #umbertoeco said that the words of #franklindroosevelt of November 4, 1938, are worth recalling: "I venture the challenging statement that if #American #democracy ceases to move forward as a living force, seeking day and night by #peaceful means to better the lot of our citizens, #fascism will grow in strength in our land."

I believe that - by now - we have not only forgotten, but we are on the path of denial of his words in present #europe and #USA

Wie hieß es schon bei Raumschiff #enterprise: #faeser auf #Betäubung ?

Früher waren #innenminister gefühlt weniger #aktionistisch.

Heute überbieten sich aber schon die Wähler in #socialmedia darin, Rücktritte zu fordern oder Parteien als nicht wählbar zu stempeln ...

Abber ährlich, Leude! Wen wollt'n ihr noch wählen, wenn ihr alle und och die von der Liste streicht, die nicht mal mehr antreten tun werden? :dog_tilting_head:
