Ok I'm in no position to say this, but Americans just started pronouncing words wrong, and they're calling it slang.

e.g. "yeah" is one letter longer than "yes" and it's more widely used in online communication and is considered informal.

Seriously, slang should make writing easier not weird, Aait? (Alright) (a good one)
