Inspired by @hughmcguire's article "Why Can't We Read Anymore?", I plan to drastically reduce my use of social media.

I don't post much anyway, but I do find myself #doomscrolling far too often, which affects my ability to read and reduces my creative output.

I've signed up for #WritingMonth, a budding #NaNoWriMo alternative.

I plan to write a novella, shorter than the usual 50,000 word novel goal. Everything is heavily subject to change, but at least I have a vague outline this time around.

While messing with Linux on my ageing Surface Pro 2, I tried several lightweight distros and really fell in love with CrunchBangPlusPlus. It's essentially just Debian with the OpenBox window manager, but it works really nicely.

I don't really have time for videogames at the moment, so of course I had to get Caves of Qud.

Even if I rarely play it, it has a wonderful soundtrack!
