Kind of sad how #Valve's own #VR hardware, the #ValveIndex, still has rather terrible #Linux support: 5 years after release there is no support for the HMD's cameras, the base stations won't turn off automatically and it is not possible to update their firmware. At least audio is working without messing around. Had some fun playing #HalfLife2VR when #SteamVR did not crash. At least my experience was better than trying the #Quest2 on Linux a while ago...

Those who own the first gen LCD #SteamDeck: If you suffer from a whiny fan I highly recommend to swap your stock Delta fan for a Huaying BN5010S5H-N00P (bottom one in the picture) which is the other stock fan some Decks came with. Much more quiet and less annoying . ☺️

Can be easily ordered from ebay, AliExpress or iFixit. Here's the full guide on swapping the fan (it is simple!): https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Steam+Deck+Fan+Replacement/148903

You can check the fan of your Steam Deck by checking the hardware info in your #Steam account: Profile (icon) -> Account Details -> Devices.

Leider endet der #38c3 vor Ort bereits für mich. 💔 Eine Erkältung bahnt sich an und ich hab beschlossen, mich zuhause zu schonen. Sorry an alle, die ich noch treffen wollte. Pingt mich trotzdem gern nochmal an!

Trotzdem hatte ich viele schöne Erlebnisse: Einen Lötworkshop bei @maltman23, meine ersten Engel-Schichten u.a. als #SignalEngel, leidenschaftliche Diskussionen mit einer Kaffeemaschine , Tschunks mit @phillo und viele tolle Eindrücke. Sinnvolle Nachtbeschäftigung auf dem #38C3: Die ganze Nacht mit einer Kaffeemaschine um Kaffee feilschen, bis man den den Ticket-Gegenwert raus hat und eh nicht mehr schlafen muss/kann. :awesome:
