So, I'm going to move instances.

me.dm is good but I'm not renewing my Medium membeship once it's expired. The instance also hasn't updated from 4.2.10 yet, and it's unclear if they plan to.

I'm not investing in my own one again, as I know I'll be uncertain about the ongoing costs in the future.

Instead, I think it's best to have my account based on the default instance.

In my "f$&K it, life's too short" phase. Always wanted an X-Pro1 but they got pretty expensive in recent years. Found this at a decent price so I've ordered it.

Looking forward to getting it. I should probably offload some excess gear I have already in the meantime.

Halide’s Process Zero is making me enjoy iPhone photography again. I’m loving the flexibility from these files over the highly processed output of the standard camera; and even over Apple’s ProRAW (which I’ve used on the iPhone 13 Pro Max previously).

Ask Google's Gemini to add something to my shopping list. It adds it to Google's Keep list instead of Tasks; which of course in Google's world are seperate services.

I far prefer Mastodon and the Fediverse over other social media right now. I stay on Threads because there are far more local Perth people than here.

I've tried BlueSky a few times. It always comes across as people trying to replicate old Twitter culture; a cheap imitation of such.
