Every time Teams or Outlook suggests possible replies to a message I receive, I still type them myself, even if I write something identical to one of the suggestions. Even though the recipients can't tell the difference, I consider it cheating otherwise. 🤯

Fuck you, Windows 11. I installed a security update and now I can't log in anymore and setting up a new PIN does not work. Luckily I only use Windows for a few games which I never play anyway. #Windows #0xd0000225

[#]Freeze64 issue 72 has arrived! The Terminator 2 game went past me back in the days even though I liked the movie. This issue also features an article about the making of Aztec Challenge which I really enjoyed. Me and my friends played the game a lot, even though I can't remember ever making it past level 1. #c64 #Commodore64 #RetroGaming

2009 I worked in Ghent/Belgium for half a year. Even though the city was nice, all work and little fun can get you pretty down after a while. That's why I was happy when @sandb and @fs111 asked me if I would like to go to Brussels one Tuesday night. I was pretty excited since the destination was the local #hackerspace and I didn't know what to expect. I had a great time and soon became a member of @HSBXL for a few months at least. Thanks to everyone who contributed to the great nights at #HSBXL!

I have published a new blog article: Creating a firmware for the Mysterium keyboard with OLED support REVISITED - After creating a custom firmware for my keyboard I noticed that I missed one crucial detail: The firmware was for ANSI keyboards, but I have ISO keyboards. Time to have a second look at compiling firmware for the Mysterium keyboard.

Today I visited the #HNF (https://www.hnf.de/en/home.html) in #Paderborn. It covers the history of information technology since the invention of writing until today and I was quite overwhelmed by the wealth of information. Skipping lunch and being hungry also did not help. 😉

Had a fantastic night at the https://computermuseum-oldenburg.de/! Nearly all machines (home computers, game consoles, arcade machines) were allowed to be touched and it was even encouraged to use them. Played Donkey Kong on a real Atari 2600 for the first time, spent considerable time playing Qix and Frogger on the arcade machines and programmed a TRS-80 (the horror 😱). I even got a guided tour of rooms which are usually not open to the public (storage, workshop) and all of this for only 2€! #retrocomputing
