In confronto, il live di Guccini "Tra la via emilia e il west" era tornato al cinema in maniera prevalentemente intoccata dalle narrazioni: era solo musica a non finire. E forse avrei preferito che anche per Daniele fosse così, con un lavoro più dedicato al restauro di qualche vecchia pellicola che altro.

A parte quella di Fausta Venere, tutte le cover mi sembravano proprio fuori luogo: avrei preferito di gran lunga clip intere di live - anche recenti - di Daniele, piuttosto che videoclip belli e che pronti che sembrano pronti a funzionare anche da videopromo su youtube. Non c'è miglior modo di raccontare un'artista facendo sentire la sua musica (ma capisco che chiedo troppo, visto che le sue stesse canzoni venivano tagliate più o meno bruscamente, forse per paura di annoiare?).

Come detto da altr3 utenti, questo film è all'80% composto dalle storie degli altri in qualità di "partecipe nella vita di Pino Daniele". Senese con dietro il murale di Senese riassume il livello di ego con cui si ruba troppo la scena a quello che dovrebbe essere il legittimo protagonista (ma qui non sto a incolpare Senese e compagnia bella quanto piuttosto il regista, ovviamente);
