So, you see why we rise in protests, we just want to have a country where ambulance drivers, construction engineers and everyone else will actually do their jobs instead of serving corrupt and illegitimate regime.

Nevermind the parallel streets close by that are open, an ambulance always gets sent to those that are blocked by protesters.
Yesterday I saw this ambulance driving at really high speed, 60 KPH at least through a street filled with people. Everyone had moved out of the way, but it was dangerous.
Unfortunately, Dona didn't move away in time and was run over.
Even if there was genuine medical emergency, and I doubt that, it was irresponsible to send the ambulance through, ⬇️

In this regime that is gone, which is the main reason this whole crisis started in the first place.
Today, it's very hard to get a job in the public sector if you are not a party member and party members often need to do dirty work for the party. This, unfortunately, includes ambulance drivers. In 2023, an ambulance in northern Kosovo was filmed distributing clubs to Vučić-affiliated protesters. And now, whenever there is a protests, it "just happens" that the ambulance has to go through. ⬇️

Yesterday during protests against corruption in Novi Sad, #serbia, a dog was run over by an ambulance. This dog, Dona, was taken to a nearby vet, but she did not survive.
This isn't an incident that can easily be overlooked, so here is the context behind it.
Since Milošević's days, one way of getting a job, especially if you were not actually competent for that job, was to joing the ruling party. But, the regime of Slobodan Milošević at least had some moderation in this. ⬇️
