We're not sure who said it, but it seems apt. Contact the representatives in your voting district and let them know, in no uncertain terms, that you expect them to act. #dontobeyinadvance #resist

(Edited: this is an apocryphal quote attributed to Sun Tzu. Sentiment still applies, though!)

Lessons from the 5th Century BC can be applied today. But today, you can contact the representatives in your voting district and let them know, in no uncertain terms, that you expect them to act.

Rosa Parks Day honors an American Civil Rights hero twice a year on February 4th or December 1st.

The holiday recognizes Rosa Parks, who refused to give up her seat on a bus in 1955. She was arrested, and the rest is civil rights history.

Why is February Black History month?

Because it coincides with the birthdays of two important figures in the abolitionist movement: President Abraham Lincoln and Frederick Douglass.

No matter what the US Government might say about it, we celebrate Black History this February!

Autocrats flood us with endless outrages, hoping we'll grow numb, exhausted, and forget what truly matters. Don’t let them dull your senses. Hold fast to your values, your principles, your truth—no matter how much chaos they create.
