I actually agree that it is counterproductive and in fact outright hostile to suggest that people fork software should they have an issue with the leadership or the software. But I do think users have a responsibility to the open source software they use. For some, that's manifested via donations, for others bug reports, for others it's promoting the software and for some it's about holding the developers to account. I'm not one for lynching developers for historic crimes, but I'm all for holding them responsible for any modern day ones. We live in a time where people conflate people with products and that's not healthy. But we also live in a time where we have autonomy and people should do whatever it is that provides them peace of mind. Be loyal to your moral compass and mental health.

WTF #Google? Since when can't you refund apps in the #PlayStore any more? I saw someone recommended #MiXplorer for editing an #ePub and so bought it. Turns out it couldn't do what I wanted so I tried to refund it. Google tells me no. Why would they turn the #Android experience to shite?

Given that gender and sexual orientation are completely independent, why are they grouped together? Shouldn't they be two completely separate conversations and sit in the public's head as completely independent topics?

I know this comes up all the time and many of you are bored AF of it, but adding #AltText isn't hard. Different people have different styles, but it's always appreciated. Whether you're the type that is meticulous with it or the type that writes an overview, just do it like a trainer company named after a Greek God. Seriously, not adding alt text makes you look like an absolute dickhead narcissist of the highest order.

I'm thoroughly amused by Elon clearly feeling a threat by the alleged actions of this guy. It's still Free Luigi BTW. Instead of just accepting that corporations have a care of duty to their shareholders, perhaps we should end capitalism and create a society where we all have a care of duty to each other.

So yesterday I was baffled because all the images on my #ETR timeline stopped showing. I tried to blame Moshidon but when I checked in the browser still nothing. So I disabled the NextDNS and they came back, but not in the browser, uBlock was doing its job. Turns out one of the filters added exoio to the blocklist. Anyway, removed that and we're good to go. But heads up for anyone else with the problem.
