I was helping someone debug some #Python environment problems and came up with a good one-liner for updating all packages to the latest versions:

I find timezones to be difficult. So, I've made a little CLI for interacting with my Outlook calendar. Now I can do something like thallo add 1st december 5pm EST -t "Event Title" to very quickly add an event to my university calendar and have it be in the correct timezone. And you can too:

I absolute love #Zotero but I also hate Zotero. The search feature in particular always felt clunky to me.

So, this weekend I've been writing a little #cli tool that lets me search my Zotero library more expressively and interactively. It even opens the result directly in Zotero for easy integration.
