I don't think Luanti is an alternative to Minecraft. I think it completely misses the point about what makes Minecraft awesome. Minecraft has a solid, polished, fleshed-out 'vanilla' experience while still being extremely moddable. There are mods and modpacks but they aren't presented as separate games.
Luanti isn't a game, it's more a platform for making games. The default Minetest game isn't very good or interesting (and I think is kind of deprecated anyways?)
Luanti is more of an alternative to Roblox than Minecraft. We need a FOSS alternative to Minecraft. I don't mean to say anything bad about Luanti, it's great. But it's not an alternative to Minecraft.
(Something like Terasology is much closer to being a Minecraft alternative but it seems kinda dead, and wtf they use ChatGPT to generate their blog posts??????)

I think I've figured out why I dislike the 12-hour clock: the AM/PM cycle and the 12-hour cycle are out of sync. There is a whole hour between it going from AM to PM (or PM to AM) and the 12-hour cycle starting over. Like it's 11:59AM and then when it gets to 12:00 it's suddenly PM? Makes no sense!
It would make much more sense if 12:00AM was noon and 12:00PM was midnight.
