I am back on #macOS after many years. What's the recommended way to install a #LaTeX environment? My primary use would be producing PDF documents from Emacs Org files, and I want a sane way to install additional CTAN packages when needed

meanwhile… I stripped down my Emacs Python configuration to the very basic, using python-ts-mode, eglot with pylsp, and pyvenv. But I expect this basic setup to evolve
