I don't like software whose only purpose is to gain your attention to keep you on them.
I also don't like software that is used to plan out your day (I don't have anything to plan)
or over engineered software (app taking notes like notion or obsidian) Graph view of your notes?? You don't need that, just keep those files with similar things in a single folder.
It would be cool if you could blend notebook and a notetaking app together, having digital notes is easy for finding specific notes, but the real life physical notebook you just have it in front of you and can manipulate it any way you want (ripping it out, pinning it against a wall, putting it somewhere that's not within the bounds of your monitor)
AR monitors would be cool, you can pin a note to the side of your room and just look that way to reference it, copy, past, send it somewhere, access it on a computer.
